For more than two decades, the Alte Feste Lions have been participating at the Windhoek Show. They are selling bratwurst, sosaties, boerewors, sausage in curry sauce and a lot more. A complete assortment of soft-drinks by Namibia Beverages is available as well. The proceeds go directly and without any deductions to the benefit of the underpriviledged in our society.

After almost 37 years of successive male-superiority at the Alte Feste Lions Club, a significant change took place in the first week of August 2007 when, for the first time in the proud history of this most pro-active Club in Namibia, a lady took over the reigns.
