It was a great privilege to be inaugurated President of the International Association of Lions Clubs in Chicago last month. It was a special thrill to assume the Presidency at our 90th anniversary celebration in the city in which our Association was founded.
LCIF is able to fulfill its mission of helping Lions serve worldwide through your support. In this message, I would like to update you on a convention fundraiser for LCIF, grants awarded at the March Board Meeting, a milestone in Melvin Jones Fellowship donation, Campaign SightFirst II, new Lions Quest grants awarded and non-traditional ways to support LCIF.
This year Lions Clubs International will celebrate several significant anniversaries including the 90th anniversary of our founding. These celebrations will remind us that we must never lose sight of our most treasured traditions and must always hold fast to the ancient values which we hold dear.
