Friendly Reminder |

This serves as a friendly reminder of the following taking place at OMARURU, on
SATURDAY, 31st March, 2007 - At 10:00 a.m. the handing over of the toys, collected at the "Toy Run", to the Ozonje Soup Kitchen & Day Care Centre, in the presence of a big contingent of bikers from Windhoek.
- Thereafter, an on-site inspection of the "Omaruru Childrens Home" (LP Hans-Gert showed slides at our last meeting), to familiarize ourselves with their needs and possible extensions for further classrooms. Those who know/have seen this home consider it a worthy project, especially if we tackle it in a joint venture with our twinning club Stormarn.
It would be great if we could make a "Lions outing" out of that day at Omaruru, with many members + partners + kids coming together. The idea is, to leave at approx. 07:00 a.m. - attend to the above - have a nice lunch together - return to Windhoek early afternoon.
Come on fellow Lions - if the bikers can make the "run" to Omaruru, so can you! |
