18.10.2007 Wine-tasting, Currywurst and great prizes

Lions Club invites you to its Wine-Fest

On the 3rd of November the Lions Club Windhoek Alte Feste hosts its annual wine-festival on the premises corner Jan-Jonker Street/Centaurus Street in Windhoek.
Starting at 10 o' clock, representatives from various South African vineyards will offer visitors their wines. Cask wines will be served too. Additionally, the beer-lovers will certainly get their draught beer as well. Grilled chicken, chips, currywurst and show-bratwurst will be offered. To bring everyone into the right mood, Horst and Ester will perform German, English and Afrikaans music.
Included in the entrance fee (N$ 25) is a free beverage and participation in the lottery. Great prizes can be won, for example material and installation of interlocks from the company BCI worth N$ 13,500, two overnight stays for two persons in the Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa near Okaukuejo by Leading Lodges, Air Namibia offers two return-flights to South Africa (either Johannesburg or Cape Town). Werner Behnsen sponsors a 250 L solar-water-boiler worth N$ 6,500. And these are just a few of the many attractive prizes which will be drawn by Harold Pupkewitz on that evening.
The German radio-station of the NBC will report live from 11 to 13 hours. Tickets are available in the tobacco department of Superspar in Maerua Lifestyle, at the gold-smith in Woermann & Brock AE Gams in Klein Windhoek and at the Luisen Pharmacy.
The proceeds will support the Lions Club-campaign Bright Sight first, which aims at helping people with vision impairments. For further information please contact Ralf Speh, cell phone: 0812744434.
