Lion Hans Gert Röschlau and wife Barbara, on a trip through a most beautiful southern Namibia. paid a visit to the Sacred Heart Hospice in Mariental and admired its cleanliness and efficiency. The hospice is a project of Lions Club Gütersloh-Wiedenbrück and its late member Pastor Behler with the logistical support of Lions Alte Feste.

In recognition, of the demanding work the nurses and staff are doing, the two Lions Clubs donated a large Garden Umbrella to them. This will come in handy, once the rainy season is over and Mariental again becomes one of the hottest places in the country.
